Black leatherette Art Deco inspired ottoman - cushioned - local pickup in RI/MA

Simple, stylish faux leather ottoman in very good condition. It’s the kind of piece that would best furnish a starter apartment, a guest room or home office, or if you’ve got kids and need a transitional piece but don’t want to break the bank (or ruin your upholstery) while your little ones grow wild.
That said, this previously belonged to my sister, who has two small kids - their home is otherwise immaculate, both smoke and pet free (as is mine) - but you’ll see the scuffs and marks along the feet from tiny hands and feet (not to mention lots of Super Bowl parties) in the photos.
It’s a very comfy place to sit, with moderate cushioning - I’ve used it mostly as a reading nook - and the best part is that the kid is removable, with storage inside for blankets, toys, magazines, etc.
This item is local pickup only - I’m in northern RI, about an hour from Boston, three hours from NYC, 45 minutes from Newport, 25 minutes from Providence and 40 minutes from the Metro West/Worcester area. I do offer delivery for a fee to those areas; feel free to inquire!
The chair is heavy - solid wood, about 60 pounds all together - but if you’re strong, it’s a solo carry job, as I was able to bring both pieces in separately. The entire item will fit in the back seat and trunk of a standard sedan, and easily in the back of a truck or SUV.
